My reading list is actually contracting for the first time in a decade, and it is nothing if not sad. <br /><br />Rhode Island has a handful of indie book stores at best, and the B&N stores around don't interest me much. I generally pick though the bargain bin since that's the only real variety. All the shelves are exactly the same in every store and there is no sense of discovery any more.
